Sringeri Bharathi Tirtha Trust conducted a programme for felicitating the State level toppers of SSLC and HSC, on September 16, at Mylapore.
Sringeri Sankaracharya Sri Bharathi Tirtha Swami handed over the cash prizes to the students and blessed them. The award winners were: P. Srinath of P.R. Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur, (first rank in SSLC;)P. Muthu Kumar of A.K.T. Higher Secondary School, Kallakurichi, (first rank in Tamil in HSC) and S. Pavithra of Prince Higher Secondary School, Chennai, (first rank in Sanskrit in HSC).
The programme was organised under the guidance of Sringeri Mutt Administrator Dr. V.R. Gowri Shankar. Programme co-ordinators R. Rajeswaran, P.R. Viswanathan, and Managing Trustee of Vidhya Tirtha Foundation R. Krishnan were present.
