Short-film festival held

The ninth international short-film festival was held at Shree Annai theatres in Abirami Mega Mall on Wednesday and Thursday.

The festival, organised by Don Bosco Insititute of Communication Arts, featured around 60 short films selected from 1,150 entries, received from 66 countries.

The short films, not exceeding 20 minutes each, belonged to diverse genres, including documentaries and animated films.

Filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj and critic Cable Sankar were among those who were present at the inauguration.
