Security measures in the Madras High Court were discussed at a Full Court meeting here on Tuesday. Chief Justice M.Y.Eqbal presided. It lasted nearly 45 minutes.

This came in the wake of the blast in front of the Delhi High Court on September 7.

Following the Delhi blast, the High Court here had already decided to implement a ‘comprehensive security system' that was evolved a couple of years ago.

A resolution to this effect was adopted at a meeting of the high court's administrative committee with presidents of advocates associations on September 7.
