The body of 22-year-old mariner R. Anbarasu of Salem arrived in Chennai on Thursday morning by an Air India flight from Dubai.

However, the body could not be immediately taken to the Government Hospital for post-mortem, as directed by the Madras High Court, as no representative from the Indian Overseas Ministry came to the airport to receive it.

V. Manoj Joy, Coordinator, Sailors Helpline, said though the boy's parents have come from Salem, they refused to accept the body and take it to the hospital for postmortem.

When reports came in the body was still at the Air Cargo Complex in Meenambakkam.
