Chennai Corporation plans to administer A(H1N1) flu vaccine at more places in the city.

Officials said the locations would be decided in a few days.

At present, the civic body is administering the vaccines, at a subsidised rate, at six of its laboratories.

On Monday, a total of 2,800 persons were vaccinated at the six laboratories. Initially, there was a delay in administering the vaccines due to shortage of supply.

However, the problem was rectified later.

The civic body is charging Rs.100 for the vaccine administered in the form of nasal drops and Rs.200 for injections.

The six diagnostic laboratories administer the vaccines between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., the officials said.
