‘Parotta’ Soori files complaint

January 04, 2014 09:43 am | Updated May 13, 2016 07:07 am IST - CHENNAI:

Tamil comedy actor M. Soori, known as ‘Parotta’ Soori, lodged a complaint with the commissioner of police on Friday, claiming that fake Facebook and Twitter accounts had been created in his name. Miscreants were using these forums to post derogatory messages about leading actors in an attempt to defame him, he charged.

Mr. Soori said unidentified persons had created FB accounts ‘Parotta’ Soori Fan Page and Soori New and Twitter handle im_actor_soori and have posted controversial material online about senior actors. “I don’t have even a basic knowledge about the internet, let alone Twitter and Facebook,” the actor said.
