Nod for MBBS admissions
The Centre has given the nod to Apollo Medical College (Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Chitoor), for admission of students to MBBS course for the academic year 2016 - 2017, a release said.
The Apollo Medical College, set up in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, will have a 320-bed Government district headquarters hospital.
The College, situated inside the Apollo Knowledge Health City Campus, is all set to support an initiative to provide holistic healthcare for over 7,00,000 people in Chitoor, which will be a game changer in quality healthcare and employment generation in the district, the note said. — Staff Reporter
