NEET: PIL seeks presidential nod for Bills

An activist has filed a public interest litigation petition in the Madras High Court, seeking a direction to the Union Home and Human Resource Development Ministries to secure presidential assent for two Bills passed in the Tamil Nadu Assembly exempting medical aspirants from appearing for NEET. A Division Bench of Justices M. Sathyanarayanan and N. Seshasayee, before whom the matter came up, adjourned the case without passing any order.
