Residents can participate in open house meetings of Chennai Metrowater to be held in 15 zones across the city to address grievances pertaining to water supply and sewage problems.

The meetings, held on the second Saturday of every month, will be organised at the Metrowater offices in the respective areas on February 8 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Consumers can also get details about pending water/sewer connections and water/tax charges at the meetings. Superintending engineers have also been instructed to attend some of the meetings to redress consumers’ complaints.

The water agency received 18 complaints in the meetings held last month. Of these, 17 have been rectified.
