Madras University to hold instant exams

July 10 is the last date to apply

The University of Madras will hold instant examination for various undergraduate and other programmes on July 29.

Candidates who have passed all theory and practical papers till fifth semester and have failed in one theory paper in the sixth semester alone can apply online.

Similarly, candidates from postgraduate and professional courses who have passed all papers till third semesters but have failed in only one paper are eligible to appear for the instant examination.

The application forms can be downloaded from www.unom.ac.in from July 4 to 10. Completed applications forms must be submitted before July 10.

The forms should be signed by the candidate and be accompanied by the relevant demand draft, addressed to the Registrar, University of Madras.

Hall tickets can be downloaded from the university website from July 24.

Exams for BCom and BBA will be held in Patrician College of Arts and Sciences, Gandhi Nagar, Adyar; for BSc and BA it would be held at Kumararani Meena Muthiah College, Adyar and for PG/Professional courses at Dr. MGR Janaki College at R.A. Puram. Undergraduate candidates can also apply for retotalling through online from July 4 to 10. The applications must be signed by the candidates and be accompanied by the necessary demand draft.
