A State Transport Corporation bus knocked down a 42-year-old woman on Thursday in Koyambedu when she was returning home on a two-wheeler after buying fruits and vegetables from the market.
The victim, Maheshwari, lived in West Mambalam. She was heading home on 100 Feet Road when the bus rammed her vehicle from the rear. She died on the spot. The Koyambedu traffic investigation police registered a case and conducted investigations.
