State Bank Retired and Serving Employees’ Forum (SBRSEF) and the Siruthozhil Branch of State Bank of India, Nungambakkam, conducted an essay writing and drawing competition for Corporation school girl students recently at the bank premises.

Over 100 students from 25 schools participated.

National leaders and environment pollution were the topics given for essay and drawing competition respectively.

Chennai Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School, Pulla Avenue, Aminjikarai, won the first prize in drawing contest and Chennai Corporation Girls Higher Secondary School, Rottler Street, Purasawalkkam, came first in the drawing competition.

The best individual prize for drawing was given to K. Kamatchi of Chennai Girls Higher Secondary School, Korukkupet.

For essay writing the award went to R. Saranya, Chennai Higher Secondary School, Appasamy Street, Tondiarpet.
