Sri Vaishnava Sripatham Kainkaryam Association will conduct a recitation competition on Divya Prabhandham and Sri Desikar Sthothirapaadam for children on November 4, 11 a.m. at Sri Desika Vidhya Bhavanam, Venkatesa Agraharam, Mylapore.
For children who are aged between six and 10 years, the syllabus is Artha Panchakam and Panniru Thirunaamam from Desika Prabhandham and Shodasaayudha Sthothram and Paramaartha Sthuthi from Desikar Sthothirapaadam. For those who are aged between 11 and 15 years, the syllabus is Desika Prabhandham: Mummanikovai and Navamani Maalai and Desikar Sthothirapaadam: Bhoosthuthi and Nyaya Vimsadhi.
