Creating awareness on palliative care

The volunteers and staff of RMD Palliative Care Trust, Raghavaiah Road, T. Nagar, participated in a ‘palliative care awareness walk,’ organised by Shri Isari Velan Mission Hospital, on the Marina Beach on October 13 on the occasion of ‘World Palliative Care Day’.

Dr. Republica Sridhar, founder RMD Trust, said a team doctors specialising in palliative care from Adyar Cancer Institute and Lakshmi Pain and Palliative Care, Kilpauk, gave an awareness talk during the rally.

Students from various educational institutions held placards and distribute pamphlets to the public.
