Creating awareness on breast feeding

An awareness rally was conducted in view of the Breast Feeding Week by the students, doctors, nurses, teachers and employees of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute University, A.C.S. Medical College and Hospital at Marina Beach recently.

The rally was flagged off by A.C.S. Arunkumar, President of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute University and A. Ravikumar, Secretary, near Labour Statue, which culminated at Kannagi Statue.

More than 500 students participated in the rally carrying placards and banners with slogans creating awareness on breast feeding among the public.

to help the baby continue to grow.

Vice Chancellor of the University, K. Meer Mustafa Hussain, presided over the rally.

Registrar, C.B. Palanivelu; Advisor, A.C.S. Medical College and Hospital, C.S. Jeyachandran; Dean, A.C.S. Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Dutta Gupta; Principal, Faculty of Nursing, Margaret Latha Mary; Dean (E&T), Uma Rajaram; Principal, Physiotherapy College, Senthilnathan and others participated in the rally.
