Days after its office bearers created a flutter by levelling corruption charges against some engineers in the Public Works Department and some ministers, the Tamil Nadu PWD Engineering Contractors Association (TNPWDECA) on Thursday removed all its office-bearers.
“All the office bearers, who had functioned arbitrarily and irresponsibly bringing disrepute to the Association and to the legacy of the Public Works Department are being removed from the Association,” one of the three resolutions passed by the TNPWDECA stated.
The general body of the meeting in another resolution, condemned the office-bearers for having levelled “false” allegations against 10 engineers in the department.
