Chennai: 04/11/2017, For City: Police in Rain water stagnated area

As part of efforts to ensure the welfare of police personnel and their families, City PoliceCommissioner A.K. Viswanathan on Saturday visited the police quarters, which were surrounded by rainwater.

Mr. Viswanathan has been visiting inundated areas and has asked police officers to extend all possible help to authorities executing relief and rehabilitation measures in rain-affected areas.

On Saturday, Mr. Viswanathan went to police quarters in St. Thomas Mount, Kilpauk and Kondithoppu and heard the grievances of family members of police personnel. The Commissioner assured them of all help.
