After creating waves with its maiden venture, ‘Dhanushkoti,’ Shraddha joins hands once again with Vivekshankar. “A rich visual experience akin to our first play, ‘Dhanushkoti,’ awaits Chennai’s theatre enthusiasts,” says Vivekshankar.
‘Asthiram,’ which dwells on the subject of weapons and their use, is set in a scenic village, named Mannipallam, and explores the intrinsic qualities of human nature. ‘Asthiram’s USP will include a live action sequence, on stage.
To encourage fresh talents and promote interest in theatre, veterans Kathadi Ramamurthy, T.D. Sundararajan and Shivaji Chaturvedi, who are part of the cast, and part of the core group of Shraddha, are bringing in a few new actors for ‘Asthiram.’ The group plans to introduce more actors and welcomes support from theatre lovers in this initiative.
