CBSE’s pre-examination counselling for students and parents will begin on February 1 and will continue till April 17. The avenues will be open even at the time of the examination.

According to a press release, tele-counselling, apart from online counselling through the CBSE website, will be offered.

Students can dial 1800-11-8004, the release added. While general queries will be answered by operators, students will be connected to principals or counsellors in case of exam-related anxiety or stress. Students and parents can also send a mail to or CBSE has also organised counselling for special children, the release added.

According to the press release, 59 CBSE principals, trained counsellors and psychologists will be part of the tele-counselling initiative.
