Shri Rajasthani Jain Samaj, West Mambalam, is organising a cancer awareness programme on Sunday (September 23) at 131,Theagaraya Road, T. Nagar (Opposite to Maya Plaza).
The programme will be addressed by Dr. Sunitha Singhi and Shobha Gulecha.
Medical test for women will also be undertaken on the day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Samaj premises. Registration is a must and on first-come-first-serve basis.
The programme will assess the general health status of a woman and emphasis upon routine check ups. Haemoglobin test, TSH, random sugar, and pap smear (screening test for cervical cancer) and breast examination will be done.
