Bail for SVS college correspondent

March 23, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 07:46 am IST - CHENNAI:

The Madras High Court on Tuesday granted conditional bail to S.V.S. Medical College of Naturopathy and Yoga correspondent Vasuki and principal Kalanidhi.

Justice K. Kalyanasundaram granted the relief to Vasuki after almost two months since she surrendered before a Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram.

On March 3, the High Court granted bail to Swagar Varma, son of Vasuki, and their car driver Peru Venkatesan, who had been arrested in connection with the mysterious death of three college students on January 22.

The bodies of the three students — Monisha, Saranya and Priyanka — were found in a well near the college.
