Auto driver rewarded

An auto driver was rewarded on Thursday for handing over an iPad left behind by a passenger, to the police.

Rajiv Gandhi, the auto driver, alerted the police after he found an iPad in his auto on Wednesday. The owner of the tablet, who was visiting from Australia, was traced by the police and the iPad returned to him.

Commending his honesty, Chennai city police commissioner S. George presented a certificate and cash award to Rajiv Gandhi on Thursday.
