Asian Space Challenge 2012

Catalyse, in partnership with Mars One, has launched Asian Space Challenge 2012 recently.

It is a contest for students between Class VIII and XII in which the participants have to envision life for humans in space.

The contest has two components: Space Habitat Design Challenge – Mission Mars and Space Apps Challenge – Planet Comparator App.

In the former, participants are expected to develop a sustainable solution for habitation in Mars and in the later component, smart phone apps has to be developed for space using NASA data. The last date for registration is October 15. For details, visit: www.catalyse.in/shdc or shdc@catalyse.in.
