The District Election Office has initiated action against S. Sasikumar, an Independent candidate contesting in Dr. RK Nagar constituency, on charges of campaigning for Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's candidate P.K. Sekar Babu.
A press release said based on a complaint, the flying squad checked and videographed Mr. Sasikumar campaigning at Netaji Nagar on Saturday.
As this against the election norms, action is being taken against him and the expense for his vehicle has been added with Mr.Sekar Babu's election expenditure.
