Two migrant labourers died on Friday after the hollow-blocks stacked on the sixth floor of a hospital building under construction fell on them.

The construction of an eight storeyed building is under progress off Anna Salai in Little Mount. Several migrant labourers were working at the site on Friday evening. While a few labourers were stacking hollow blocks on the sixth floor, another group of labourers was removing sand and stone in the ground floor. Suddenly the blocks collapsed from the sixth floor and fell on a few of them.
