A man was assaulted by two others at Rahamatnagar locality under Gulpet police limits on Wednesday. Ziaulla was reportedly attacked with iron rod by Saifulla and Mujamil following a petty quarrel. Ziaulla, who sustained injuries on his head, was first admitted to the Sri Narasimha Raja District Hospital and later shifted to a private hospital on the outskirts of the town, police said. Tension prevailed at SNR Hospital premises as a number of people from both sides gathered following the incident.
