A 23-year-old homemaker hanged herself at her residence in Karimnagar in HAL police limits early on Saturday.
The deceased, Kavya, allegedly ended her life after everyone in the house had fallen asleep.
She had been married to Mahesh Babu for two years and had a one-year-old son. Her mother-in-law and brother-in-law also lived in the same house.
Kavya’s uncle Gopalappa has alleged dowry harassment as the cause of her suicide.
Based on his complaint, the HAL police have booked a case of dowry death against Mahesh Babu, his mother and two other family members .
