Woman found murdered in Peenya

A 28-year-old woman was found murdered in a eucalyptus groove at Peenya on Thursday.

The victim Geetha, working as a Governess in a Primary School was married to Prashanth, an employee at a private firm and the couple had a five-year-old daughter.

Geetha had separated from Prashanth for the past one month and living in with Swamy, an autorickshaw driver. Prashanth would object to it and the couple ended up having frequent fights.

On Thursday, some passers-by found Geetha’s body with multiple stab injuries. Police suspect Prashanth and efforts are on to track him.
