Win a chance to live the James Bond lifestyle

November 19, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:32 am IST - BENGALURU:

Do you have a private “James Bond lifestyle” dream? Does it involve driving his Aston Martin or fighting evil without a crinkle in your suit? If your answer is yes, then you stand a chance of realising that dream, albeit for a few days, subject to certain conditions, with the ‘Bond is GREAT’ campaign that is coming to India.

Organised by VisitBritain, in association with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, the campaign includes an online competition ‘The Sweepstake’, which allows one lucky winner to live the “Bond lifestyle”, including being chauffeur driven in an Aston Martin car, a private visit to Madame Tussauds and a stay at one of the exclusive Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotels in London.

All you have to do to win is to share “your dream” of the Bond lifestyle adventure in Britain… and wait until mid-December to find out if you’ve won.

The latest Bond movie ‘ SPECTRE’ is all set to be released this Friday, and Visit Britain, a tourism agency responsible for marketing Britain worldwide and developing its visitor economy, has been leveraging the movie worldwide to attract more visitors. An exclusive four-city premier of the film has been planned, with the agency planning to visit Bengaluru on November 19 to raise awareness about tourism, business and educational opportunities in that country.

“Recent films have demonstrated that they deliver a real increase in the number of visitors, with just under half of our potential visitors to Britain wanting to visit places they have seen in films or televisions. So we are doing everything we can to capitalise on this phenomenon. We are working hard to inspire more people to holiday in Britain through our ‘Bond is GREAT Britain’ campaign,” said Sally Balcombe, Chief Executive Officer, VisitBritain.
