Day-long cultural fest at Ravindra Kalakshetra to celebrate ‘Vasanta rutu’

: The Kannada and Culture Department has organised a day-long cultural fest ‘Vasanta Sambhrama’ at the Ravindra Kalakshetra on May 24, to celebrate the oncoming of the ‘Vasanta rutu’.

Director of Kannada and Culture Department K.A. Dayananda said, after a hiatus of two years that the academies went headless, the department had organised the cultural fest to kickstart activities of all academies as they had been reconstituted recently.

The fest will be inaugurated by Minister for Kannada and Culture Umashree.

Mr. Dayananda said the department intended to organise the fest every year henceforth in various parts of the State.
