Two killed in separate incidents

Two persons including a woman was killed in separate accident in the city on Sunday.

A 45-year-old pedestrian was killed on the spot when a speeding truck knocked him down in RMC Yard Market on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Nataraj, a resident of Vyyalikaval. The Yeshwanthpura traffic police have arrested the truck driver and seized the vehicle.

In another incident, a scooter rider, identified as Jyothi, was killed on the spot when a truck knocked her down near Tin Factory in K.R. Puram on Sunday. The K.R. Puram traffic police are investigating.
