Two persons were arrested on Monday on the charge of fabricating documents of a 3.5 acre government land. The Bangalore Metropolitan Task Force (BMTF), who registered a criminal case based on a complaint filed by Regional Commissioner R.K. Singh, arrested Sandeep Singh, village accountant of Hulimangala village in Anekal, and Rajappa, a realtor from the village.
Mr. Singh said the documents were forged to claim that the land was allotted to one Ramakka. A probe revealed that Ramakka was only a fictitious benami. BMTF officials said the probe was on to identify miscreants who had forged the documents initially in 2000. — Staff Reporter
