Three killed in separate accidents

Three persons were killed and four injured in two different accidents in the city on Tuesday.

Two persons including a driver were killed and three others injured when the car they were travelling in collided with a parked truck at Yadavanahalli on Hosur Road. The deceased have been identified as Mukhtiyar (30) and Abdul Rahman (45). The injured Zubeda (57), Khaleel (30), and Razaullah (67) sustained multiple injuries and have been admitted to a private hospital.

The victims had gone to Chennai to visit their relatives and were heading to the Vijayanagar Telecom Layout when the accident happened. The Attibele police have taken up a case and are investigating.

In another incident, a 37-year-old biker was killed and another injured when two motorcycles collided on NTTF Road in Peenya.

The deceased Sanju Muthu Nayak, who works in a private firm was heading home to Banasawadi from work.

According to the police, another biker identified as Ganapathlal, a resident of Peenya II Stage, came in the opposite direction and collided head on with Nayak’s bike. In the impact, Nayaka fell and sustained severe head injuries. He was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where he succumbed. The Peenya traffic police are investigating.
