Territorial Army to hold job rally

The Infantry Battalion of the Territorial Army will hold a recruitment rally in Bengaluru for candidates from the Southern and Western regions.

The rally will be held on March 16 and 17 for those in the age group 18-42 years, according to an official release. The Territorial Army is a citizens’ voluntary army and does not guarantee full time employment.

Medically fit candidates who have passed matriculation and meeting the physical requirements are eligible for 16 posts of soldier general duty.

The candidates must have the domicile of any of these states: Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli; Daman & Diu; Lakshadweep and Puducherry.

Candidates should report at 106 Infantry Battalion (TA) PARA, Inder Gill Lines, Benson Town - 560046 at 6 a.m. on the two days. They should bring original and attested documents of their education certificate, 12 copies of passport size photograph, caste certificate, character certificate and ration card/voter identity card.
