Santosh movie theatre on Kempegowda Road was war-field to agitated movie buffs on Friday morning when fans of Puneeth Rajkumar ransacked the movie hall when the trailer of Sudeep-starter Kannada movie ‘Ranna’ was aired during the interval of ‘Rana Vikrama’.

The Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer ‘Rana Vikrama’ hit the screens today and the incident occurred on the first-day, first-show screening of the film in Santosh theatre.

Commotion reviled as the fans in the main hall of the theatre threw cold-drink bottles towards the projector room soon after the trailer was aired.

Tension gripped among the audience sitting at the balcony when the glass pieces of the bottles thrown towards the projector room, smashed against the wall and fell on them.

The situation was brought under-control soon after the trailer stopped and ‘Rana Vikrama’ started.
