A software engineer has been arrested for allegedly molesting a woman on a moving bus.
Madhusudhan Rao (47), who works in a company in Whitefield, had misbehaved with a 29-year-old woman on a crowded BMTC Volvo bus late on Wednesday evening while she was returning home from work. The victim lodged a complaint at the Bellandur police station through the city police’s recently launched mobile application called ‘Know Your Police Station.’
Immediately after receiving the complaint, a police patrol vehicle intercepted the Volvo bus and arrested the accused on the Outer Ring Road. An FIR was registered and a case was filed against Madhusudhan and he was remanded to judicial custody.
