Siddiah orders filling of potholes

Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike Commissioner Siddiah on Monday issued an order stating that divisional-level assistant executive engineers working in Horticulture, Forest and Health departments should work as nodal officers.

They should attend to the complaints related to their departments and send them to the departments concerned. Inspecting the work progress in the East Zone here, Mr. Siddiah has directed officials to ensure that potholes filled and the debris cleared.

In a release, Mr. Siddiah said that the BBMP is mooting maintaining public toilets with public-private-partnership following complaints from public that 30 toilets coming under East Zone were not being maintained properly.
