A three-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at her school in Indiranagar.

According to the police, the parents, residents of Shivajinagar, learnt about it when the girl complained of pain in her private parts after returning from school. N. Satish Kumar, DCP (East), told The Hindu , “The parents have lodged a complaint that their daughter was sexually assaulted in the school premises on Monday. Medical examination was conducted on the girl at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital.”

Police registered a case under the POCSO Act and Section 376 of the IPC. The secretary of the school denied the allegations. He said that the nursery student was in school between 9 a.m. and noon on Monday. “We have CCTV camera footage of the entire three-hour duration of the student in the classroom and her father picking her up,” the secretary said.
