The Indiranagar police are searching for a driver attached to Ola who reportedly misbehaved with a woman passenger on Saturday evening. The suspect fled after the victim raised an alarm.

According to police sources, the incident took place around 5.30 p.m. near Motherhood Hospital on C.M.H. Road. The 31-year-old complainant told the police that she had booked the cab from B.T.M. Stage I to travel to Indiranagar.

En route, the driver attempted to misbehave with her. The incident came to light when she shouted out for help on C.M.H. Road. As soon as she did this, the driver abandoned the cab and fled from the spot.

The police have seized the vehicle and registered a case. They are tracking down the driver, who has been identified as Kiran B.B. (24) from Hassan district, sources said.

Meanwhile, Ola, in a statement, said: "We have off-roaded the vehicle of the operator from the Ola platform. Customer safety is paramount to us at Ola. We will extend all support to the authorities to furnish information required for any further investigation."
