December 18, 2014 01:30 am | Updated 01:30 am IST - Bengaluru:

With admissions under the RTE quota in private unaided schools set to go online for the first time, the Department of Public Instruction has tweaked the admission schedule. As per the revised schedule, parents can apply for RTE seats for their children either online or offline between January 18 and February 19, 2015. The first list of candidates will be selected through an online lottery on March 9. An additional list will be announced on March 19. Admissions in schools through the RTE quota will begin from March 20. Those who wish to apply for RTE quota seats for their children can log on to www.schooleducation.kar.nic.ic or approach the Block Education Officer.
