RGUHS convocation: Graduate from Malaysia reminisces about Davangere

Lim Boon Hui from Malaysia who bagged four cash prizes at the ceremony received a hearty applause from his peers. Speaking to reporters after the convocation, Mr. Hui said he picked up several Kannada words, which he used to communicate with his patients when he was studying at the College of Dental Sciences in Davangere. He is now working in a government hospital in Malaysia. He was on a government scholarship to study in Davangere. “I have fond memories of Davangere, including mandakki. I enjoyed my days as a student,” he said.
