A 24-year-old pregnant woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in KG Halli on Saturday night.
Priya got married to Shiva Kumar, a private firm employee, three years ago and the couple were living in a second floor of a house in Gandhi Nagar in KG Halli.
Priya was found dead on the stairs of her house and the police initially suspect that she could have died after a accidental fall.
However, her parents have accused Shiva Kumar of killing her by pushing her from the terrace. They alleged that her husband was involved in an extra marital affair and Priya had objected to it.
Based on the parents’ complaint, the police have taken up a case and are waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death. The police will also question Shiva Kumar soon.
