The whereabouts of Kali Math seer Rishi Kumar, who became the target of Kannada activists’ ire following his alleged deal to bail out Nithyananda, are not known, the police said.
The police said the seer’s rented house in Subramanyanagar was found locked on Monday, a day after a large number of protesters gathered in front of the math, demanding his immediate arrest.
On Sunday, protesters belonging to a Kannada outfit gathered in front of the math after the seer was allegedly caught on camera attempting to clinch a Rs.11-crore deal to bail out Nityananda. The seer allegedly claimed to have enough clout to help bail out the controversial godman.
Though police said that though a complaint was filed in this regard, no case been registered so far.
