A 27-year-old pizza delivery boy was killed on-the-spot after he rammed his motorcycle into a moving tractor near Agrara Lake on Sarjapur Road on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Manoj Singh, a resident of HSR Layout and a native of Manipur. He was working as a delivery boy with Dominos Pizza outlet at HSR Layout.
The accident took place at around 12.30 a.m. when Manoj was heading towards home after finishing his shift. Upon reaching Sarjapur Road near Agrara Lake, the deceased failed to spot a speed hump and jumped the bike over it following which he lost control over the bike and hit a tractor running ahead. Manoj Singh sustained severe head injuries and died on-the-spot.
Passers-by who noticed Manoj Singh lying in an unconscious state immediately rushed him to St. John’s Hospital where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
The Madivala Traffic police have registered a case and are investigating further.
