Continuing their investigations, CID officials on Wednesday arrested three more persons including a PWD engineer, a realtor, and the owner of a coaching centre who was associated with the prime accused Shivakumar and helped to circulate the leaked question paper.
The accused have been identified as K.S. Ranganath, Junior Engineer, PWD office in K.R Circle, Anil Kumar, a realtor, and Muralidhar K.M., who runs a private coaching centre.
While Ranganath and Anil Kumar had circulated the leaked question paper, Muralidhar prepared answer scripts for Shivakumar to help the students to secure higher marks. The trio are being questioned to ascertain if others were involved in the network.
