The Hindu Friday Review November Fest, promising a treat to music lovers, kicks off on Wednesday.

Beginning with the beats of British Afro-rock band Osibisa (Wednesday), the five-day festival will present the duo Sudha Ragunathan and Amit Heri in an evening of jazz, funk and traditional kritis (Thursday).
This will be followed by a recital by M. Venkatesh Kumar from Dharwad, a leading proponent of the Gwalior gharana (Friday).
On November 27, Srinivas, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Chinmayi and Haricharan will take you back to the magic of old Hindi movies. On the final day, Aruna Sairam will offer her spiritual rendition of Abhangs (Sunday).

The festival will be held at Jnana Jyothi Convention Centre, Bangalore University, Central College Campus, Palace Road, at 7.15 p.m. on all days.
Tickets are priced at Rs. 750, Rs. 500, Rs. 250 and Rs. 150. Season passes are available for Rs. 3,000, Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 1, 000.
