Medical Superintendent’s appointment set aside

August 01, 2015 12:00 am | Updated March 29, 2016 12:22 pm IST - Bengaluru:

The High Court of Karnataka on Friday set aside the selection of T. Durganna as Medial Superintendent of Victoria Hospital.

Justice Raghvendra S. Chauhan passed the order while setting aside the April 20, 2015, notification for the reason that Dr. Durganna lacked two years’ mandatory administrative experience as a head of the department as contemplated in the norms for selection to the post.

The court directed the selection committee to hold a meeting within four weeks to select a new Medical Superintendent.
