Man held with fake currency notes

Officials of the Central Crime Branch arrested a man who was trying to circulate fake currency notes at Commercial Street on Tuesday.

The accused has been identified as Bhaskar S. He was nabbed with 37 fake currency notes of ₹2,000 denomination and 19 fake currency notes of ₹500 denomination. The police have taken Bhaskar into custody to investigate the source of fake currency notes.
