KSRTC to operate special buses this weekend

This is in view of the Basava Jayanthi/International Labour Day holiday

In view of Basava Jayanthi/International Labour day, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will be operating over 450 additional buses from April 28 and 30. Special buses will be operated from various places to Bengaluru on May 1.

According to a KSRTC release, special buses will be operated from Kempegowda Bus Station in Bengaluru to Dharmastala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Tirupathi, Pavagada, Hosadurga and several other places. Buses towards towards Mysuru and Hunsur will be operated from Mysuru Road Bus Station. All premier special buses to places in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will be operated from Shanthinagar BMTC Bus Stand. Passengers can book tickets online by logging on to www.ksrtc.in . Tickets can also be booked through 148 counters in Bengaluru, 18 in Mysuru, 34 in Mangaluru and 230 other computerised reservation counters of KSRTC across Karnataka, the release added.
