The traffic police displayed zero tolerance and towed a vehicle belonging to the Kadugodi police that was parked in a no-parking zone inside Cubbon Park on Monday.

The Kadugodi police, who were to produce an accused in a narcotics case at the High Court, had parked their vehicle inside Cubbon Park.

A few advocates, who noticed the vehicle parked in a no-parking zone, informed the traffic control room about the same. Within minutes, a towing vehicle from the jurisdictional Halasooru traffic police reached the spot and towed the vehicle away.

When the Kadugodi police team returned, they noticed their vehicle missing. It was then that they were informed that their vehicle had been towed. The team rushed to the jurisdictional police station and got the vehicle released, but only after being given a stern warning about following traffic rules.
